1. Problems
Outdated features and limitations in the legacy system created significant barriers to user satisfaction and business growth:
- Legacy Infrastructure Unable to Scale: On-premise servers were overwhelmed by exploding data volumes and could not support modern AI workloads, resulting in frequent downtime and high maintenance costs.
- Absence of Agentic AI & Intelligent Insights: Traders lacked autonomous AI agents and real-time predictive analytics, forcing manual analysis and slower, less accurate decision-making.
- Outdated & Non-Intuitive User Experience: The legacy interface felt clunky and dated, delivering poor usability on mobile and desktop that frustrated both retail and institutional users.
- Fragmented Cross-Platform Capabilities: Inconsistent experiences across devices combined with slow data synchronization prevented seamless trading and real-time market monitoring.
- High Operational Costs & Security Risks: Maintaining outdated servers and manual processes led to escalating costs and increased vulnerability to security incidents.
2. Key Challenges
Overcoming these constraints required advanced technical solutions, tight coordination, and a strong focus on scalability, AI innovation, and security:
- Agentic AI Integration: Embedding autonomous Agentic AI agents for real-time predictive insights and intelligent trading recommendations.
- Modern UI/UX Redesign: Creating a sleek, intuitive, and premium trading interface that delivers effortless user experience across all devices.
- Scalable AI-Ready Infrastructure: Migrating to a fully cloud-native AWS architecture optimized for high-frequency AI workloads.
- Real-Time Performance & Synchronization: Engineering a unified cross-platform system with instantaneous data updates and live market connectivity.
- Tight 6-Month Timeline: Delivering a complex AI-powered stock exchange application within a strict 6-month timeframe while maintaining enterprise-grade security and quality.
